Chernobyl Square Live Cam, Astrakhan
Live webcam provides a real-time view of Chernobyl Square in the city of Astrakhan, Russia.
Chernobyl Square is a public green park in the Kirovsky District of Astrakhan, located at the corner of Pobedy Street and Yablochkova Street, at 58 Pobedy Street. The park’s development began in 2019 under a concession agreement between the municipality and a private investor. Covering an area of about 1.5 hectares, the project included paved walkways, fencing, benches, and the planting of trees such as lindens, spruces, and catalpas.
The renovated square features modern amenities: children’s and sports areas, solar-powered lighting, charging stations for mobile devices, security cameras, and rubberized pathways for safer walking. Chernobyl Square has become an important part of the city’s infrastructure, providing a modern space for leisure and recreation while also enhancing greenery and improving the ecological balance in the city center.
The webcam is installed at 8 General Gerasimenko Street and faces west. It offers a view of Chernobyl Square, Yablochkova Street, the Magnit supermarket, and the Astrakhan Regional Radio and Television Center’s broadcast tower.
