Blankenberge is a coastal city and municipality in the province of West Flanders, northwestern Belgium. It includes both the city of Blankenberge and the village of Uitkerke. The municipality has a population of approximately 20,559 residents and covers an area of 17.41 square kilometers (about 6.72 square miles). Blankenberge is known for its wide sandy beaches, art deco architecture, and its iconic pier extending into the sea.

Located on the North Sea coast, Blankenberge lies roughly 14.8 kilometers (about 9.2 miles) northwest of Bruges. Thanks to its prime location, it is a popular vacation destination for both Belgians and international tourists.
