The Paje Beach is a long sandy beach located in a same name resort village on the southeast coast of Zanzibar Island, between the villages of Bwejuu and Jambiani, 45 km southeast of the city of Zanzibar, Tanzania. The Paje Beach is one of the world’s kitesurfing centers thanks to the best windy condition almost all year round. Near the Paje Beach there is a shallow lagoon with a sandy bottom well protected by the reef from strong waves. The seawater in the lagoon has a bright emerald color, and during low tide the seawater is leaving for 1.5 kilometers. The Paje Beach is the very long and wide beach with white fine sand with several restaurants and cafes along it. A lot of parties are held on the beach regularly.
