Shihmen Dam Live Cam, Taoyuan

The Shihmen Dam is located on the Dahan River, south of the city center of Taoyuan in northwestern Taiwan. It provides electricity and water to more than 3 million people in northern Taiwan and forms the Shihmen Reservoir (Chinese: 石門水庫), the third-largest reservoir in the country. The dam was completed in 1964 to support Taiwan’s energy needs and is also used for flood control and drought prevention in the northern regions.
