Yungan Fishing Harbor (Chinese: 永安漁港) is a fishing port with berths for ships and fishing boats in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. It is located at the mouth of Shezu Creek on the shore of the Taiwan Strait of the South China Sea, in the Xinwu District of Taoyuan City, 30 km east of the city center. Here, a lobster-shaped fish market and a beautiful Yonggang pedestrian bridge overlooking the sea and harbor are located within the fishing harbor. Taoyuan is the fifth largest city in Taiwan after Xinbei, Taichung, Kaohsiung and Taipei, the capital of the Republic of China. The city covers an area of about 1,221 square kilometers and is home to more than 2.4 million people. The city’s name translates from Chinese as “Peach Orchard”.
