Naha Airport (Jap. 那覇空港) is an international airport located in the city of Naha, the administrative center of Okinawa Prefecture. It is the main passenger and cargo airport of Okinawa and the fifth-busiest airport in Japan. Naha Airport handles domestic flights to all major cities across the country, as well as international routes to Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, mainland China, and other destinations in Asia.
The airport complex features two runways: the primary runway, which is 3,000 meters long, and a secondary 2,700-meter runway that opened in 2020. More than 200 flights arrive and depart here daily. The airport is well connected to Naha and other parts of Okinawa Island via a developed network of highways and public transportation. The site also hosts the Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s Naha Air Base (JASDF Naha Air Base).
