Samshitovaya Roshcha Beach is located on the Black Sea coast, just 150 meters from the sanatorium’s main building. The beach features fine dark sand and a well-developed infrastructure, including sun loungers, bungalows, shaded areas, benches, restaurants, and cafes. Wooden walkways run throughout the beach for convenience. Guests can enjoy a variety of water activities and rent sports equipment directly on site.
The Samshitovaya Roshcha Sanatorium is a large, modern, year-round resort located 5 km northwest of Pitsunda. Facilities include two outdoor seawater swimming pools, a full-service bath complex with a sauna and hammam, five restaurants, several bars and cafes, a spa center, and the most advanced medical center in Abkhazia.
The main building is a 10-story structure housing 386 comfortable rooms, including Standard, Comfort, Junior Suite, and Suite categories. Rooms are equipped with a TV, air conditioning, mini-fridge, electric kettle, a large bed, and a private bathroom with a shower. The sanatorium is surrounded by a 10-hectare park featuring over 200 species of plants and trees, including numerous boxwood trees, which gave the resort its name.
