City Beach №1 is the main and most popular beach in Aktau, situated in the Mangystau region. It lies along the Caspian Sea coast by the city’s seaside promenade in the 1st quarter of Aktau, within walking distance for residents of nearby neighborhoods, which ensures high visitor turnout. The shoreline here is mostly rocky with boulders, typical for the central part of Aktau. The seabed is rocky and covered with small pebbles, with some sandy patches. Despite the rocky nature, the beach is actively used for swimming and relaxation thanks to its accessibility.

The beach is well-maintained and equipped for visitors’ comfort, including changing rooms, showers, restrooms, and rental stations for sun umbrellas and loungers. Watercraft rentals such as boats and catamarans operate on the beach. There are several piers offering panoramic views of the coast. Yacht rentals are available nearby, and during the tourist season, tour boats depart from the main pier. Close to Beach №1 are notable attractions such as the Rock Trail, a unique lighthouse on top of a residential building, and Ak Bota Park.
