Samshitovaya Roscha Sanatorium is a modern, large-scale resort complex situated on over 10 hectares in Pitsunda, just 140 meters from the Black Sea coastline. Guests can enjoy two outdoor seawater swimming pools, a spacious spa complex with a sauna and hammam, five restaurants, bars and cafés, as well as a private beach fully equipped with sun loungers, bungalows, shaded areas, and other beach amenities.

The sanatorium also features a state-of-the-art medical center, one of the best in Abkhazia, offering treatments such as balneotherapy, inhalation therapy, physiotherapy, and various types of massages. Surrounding the sanatorium is a picturesque botanical garden with over 300 plant species, including rare varieties. The garden is home to numerous boxwood trees, from which the sanatorium derives its name. Additionally, a 6-hectare dendrological park features around 400 plant species, 82 of which are unique to the Black Sea region.
