The live webcam shows Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok, Thailand.
Sukhumvit Road is one of Bangkok’s most iconic thoroughfares, stretching more than 490 kilometers (305 miles) and connecting numerous towns and cities to Thailand’s capital. It is listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest road in the world. This busy artery runs from central Bangkok through the eastern provinces and is famous for its vast selection of shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and cultural attractions.
Sukhumvit is divided into many side streets known as sois, each offering its own unique character. Notable areas include Nana (Soi 3/1), often referred to as Bangkok’s “Arab quarter,” with its Middle Eastern restaurants and shops; Asoke (Soi 21), a bustling commercial hub with upscale dining and the Terminal 21 shopping mall; Thonglor (Soi 55), the heart of Bangkok’s nightlife with trendy cocktail bars, rooftop lounges, and fine-dining restaurants; and Ekkamai (Soi 63), a stylish district popular among Bangkok’s affluent youth for its chic cafés and boutiques.
Along Sukhumvit Road you’ll also find high-end shopping malls such as Emporium and EmQuartier near the BTS Phrom Phong station, as well as lively local markets. Visitors can explore Benjakitti Park for green spaces or enjoy contemporary art in the many galleries scattered along the road. Getting around Sukhumvit is easy thanks to the BTS Skytrain, which runs parallel to the road and connects its key neighborhoods. The MRT subway intersects at Sukhumvit Station, further enhancing accessibility.
