The Altai Alps Ski Resort is located on the western slope of the Ulba Range, in the Gornaya Ulbinka valley (East Kazakhstan Region, Kazakhstan). Nestled in a picturesque wooded area at an elevation of approximately 660 meters above sea level, the resort is just 24 kilometers east of Ust-Kamenogorsk. This convenient location makes it easily accessible for both local residents and tourists. You can reach the resort from Ust-Kamenogorsk by bus or taxi in about 40 minutes. In winter, a modern ski complex operates here; in summer, visitors can enjoy a rope park and fishing.

During the winter season, the resort offers about 12 ski runs of varying difficulty levels—from beginner slopes to challenging routes for experienced skiers. Additional features include a tubing (snow rafting) slope and night skiing (available from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.). The resort provides equipment rental services, a ski school, and a system of 5 modern ski lifts serving the runs. Visitors can stay in hotels or alpine lodges. Café «Sugrob» is situated in the eastern part of the Altai Alps Ski Resort, near the No. 3 chairlift. It opened in late 2017 and offers a cozy space where guests can relax with hot drinks and meals after an active day outdoors. The menu features fresh pastries, hot soups and main courses, shashlik (grilled meat), salads, a variety of beverages, and side dishes. On the second floor, Café «Sugrob» has its largest dining room, which seats up to 50 people and features comfortable leather couches. Popular for its panoramic views of the mountains and ski runs, this space is also often used for special events and corporate gatherings.
