Bangkok is located in the central part of the country, on the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya River, roughly 4 kilometers from where the river flows into the Gulf of Thailand in the South China Sea. It is one of the most visited cities in the world, attracting over 18 million tourists annually. Bangkok’s major attractions include the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), Wat Arun, Wat Pho, the MahaNakhon skyscraper, and the historic Rattanakosin Island.

Phetchaburi Road is one of Bangkok’s main thoroughfares, running east to west through the city’s central districts. It passes through popular areas such as Ratchathewi, Phaya Thai, and Huai Khwang. The road is lined with numerous hotels, shopping malls, markets, cafés, street-food restaurants, and MRT and BTS transit stations, making it both lively and convenient for getting around. Well-known places located near Phetchaburi Road include the Platinum Fashion Mall, CentralWorld, Victory Monument, and the Phrom Phong district. At night, the street comes to life with restaurants, neon signs, and heavy traffic.
