Laurel Eastman Kiteboarding School is located on the Cabarete Beach in one of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing destinations in the world. Cabarete is often called “THE WORLD KITESURFING MECCA” due to the constant wind and great weather all year round. The best time for windsurf and kitesurf in Cabarete is in two seasons – winter (late December to April) and summer (June to mid-September). Cabarete is one of the most popular resorts in the Dominican Republic. It is located on the northeast coast of the island of Haiti, 45 km east of the resort town of Puerto Plata.
