Grand Teton National Park is located in northwest Wyoming in the United States, 11 km south of Yellowstone National Park. It covers about 130,000 hectares and occupies the northern part of Jackson Hole Valley and most of the Titon Range. The park gets its name from the highest mountain in the Teton Range, which is 4,199 meters above sea level and 2,100 meters above Jackson Hole Valley. Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks together form the vast Greater Yellowstone ecosystem, totaling about 7.3 million hectares. Grand Teton is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States, with camping sites, hiking trails, and guest facilities.
