Kilauea is an active shield volcano located within Hawaii Volcanoes Park in the southern part of Hawaii Island in the Pacific Ocean. It is the youngest and most active active active volcano on Earth, it was formed about 25,000 years ago. The height of Kilauea volcano is 1243 meters above sea level, the caldera is 4 km long and 3.2 km wide.
