Dealey Plaza is a city park located in the West End Historic District in Downtown Dallas, and it is considered the “birthplace of Dallas”. Dealey Plaza is the location of the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963. The murder occurred at 12:30 Texas time with a rifle, when the President’s motorcade was passing along Elm Street.

This webcam broadcasts a view from the window of the Dallas County Administration Building, know as The Texas School Book Depository in the past. US President John F. Kennedy was assassinated exactly from this window on November 22, 1963.

The Texas School Book Depository was built in 1898 at the intersection of Elm Street and Houston Street in the heart of Dallas. Today, this seven-story the Dallas County Administration Building is included in the list of Texas historical monuments. It is home administrative offices, and the John F. Kennedy Museum has been created on the 6th floor.
