Mazatlán is one of most popular resorts in Mexico and the second most populous city in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, with a population of approximately 381,500. It is located on the Pacific coast south of the Strait of California, 440 kilometers north of Guadalajara, and 980 kilometers northwest of Mexico City.

Mazatlán is called the “Pearl of the Pacific” (La Perla del Pacífico) due to its picturesque nature, warm climate throughout the year, magnificent beaches and developed resort infrastructure.

The city stretches along the Pacific coast for 17 kilometers along the Pacific coast, with beautiful sandy beaches, hotels, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops and shopping centers. Masatlán has a tropical savanna climate with wet and dry seasons. The most rainfall between July and August.
