Snake River Live Webcam, Wyoming

The Snake River flows in the northwestern United States, across six states: Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, and Washington. It originates in Yellowstone National Park in northwestern Wyoming, flows through the Snake River Plateau, Hells Canyon, the hilly Palouse area and then flows into the Columbia River in eastern Washington State. About 1,735 km long, the river is the largest tributary of the Columbia River and is the 30th longest in the United States. Because of its strong current, the river is used for power generation, and 15 dams have been built on it. The webcam is located in Hoback near Astoria Hot Springs.
