Daveys Bay Yacht Club (DBYC) is located on the Mornington Peninsula, along the eastern shore of Port Phillip Bay in the scenic suburb of Mount Eliza — about a 45-minute drive south of Melbourne’s Central Business District. Established over a century ago, the club celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2009, making it one of the oldest yacht clubs in Victoria. DBYC is well-known for its sailing achievements, having produced state, national, and world champions, as well as three Olympians.
The area around the yacht club is famous for its picturesque sandy beaches, framed by striking cliffs that rise up to 30 meters high.
