Bloubergstrand Beach is a long stretch of soft white sand located in the suburb of Bloubergstrand, which forms part of Cape Town. It runs along Table Bay on the Atlantic Ocean, about 15 kilometers (9 miles) north of the city center. Bloubergstrand is considered one of the best places in the world for kitesurfing and windsurfing, thanks to the strong winds and powerful Atlantic waves.

From the beach, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the vast Atlantic Ocean, the iconic Table Mountain, and Robben Island, located about 7 kilometers (4 miles) offshore. Along the coastline, you’ll find numerous hotels, cafés, and restaurants serving fresh seafood, fish, and traditional South African cuisine. Between June and September, it’s also possible to spot whales, orcas, seals, and dolphins from the Bloubergstrand shoreline.
