Centennial Olympic Park is a public park created to commemorate the 1996 Summer Olympic Games held in the state of Georgia. Today, it is one of Atlantaโ€™s most iconic landmarks and a central gathering place in the city. The park is located in the very heart of downtown Atlanta, bordered by Marietta Street to the west, Baker Street to the north, and Centennial Olympic Park Drive to the east and south, making it easily accessible from many major attractions.

The park covers an area of approximately 85,000 square meters (about 915,000 square feet, or 21 acres). Its spacious grounds feature wide walking paths, open green lawns, and shaded areas ideal for relaxing. One of the parkโ€™s most recognizable features is the Fountain of Rings, an interactive fountain inspired by the Olympic rings that hosts light and water shows, especially popular with families. Visitors can also see the Olympic Rings monument and several pavilions used for public events and celebrations.

Centennial Olympic Park is surrounded by many of Atlantaโ€™s top attractions, making it a perfect starting point for exploring the city. Nearby landmarks include the Georgia World Congress Center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium to the west, the CNN Center, the Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca-Cola museum. Throughout the year, the park serves as a lively venue for concerts, festivals, and sporting events, while on quieter days it offers a peaceful space for walking, sightseeing, and enjoying the downtown skyline.
