The University of Washington Tower (UW Tower) is a high-rise administrative building owned by the University of Washington. It houses the central offices of UW Continuum College, along with several other university departments. The tower is located in Seattleโ€™s University District, approximately 400 meters (1,312 feet) east of the main University of Washington campus.

Completed in 1975, the 99-meter-tall (325-foot) building was originally constructed as the headquarters of Pacific Northwest Bell and became property of the University of Washington in 2006. Today, the tower serves as a modern administrative hub, hosting offices focused on continuing education, online learning programs, student support services, and university operations.

Thanks to its height and distinctive design, UW Tower is one of the most recognizable vertical landmarks in northern Seattle. From its upper floors, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of downtown Seattle, Lake Union, the University District, and the Cascade Mountain Range.

UW Continuum College is the division of the University of Washington responsible for professional and lifelong learning. Many programs are available online, while others are offered in person or in a hybrid format. The collegeโ€™s mission is to expand access to high-quality education and help learners gain practical, in-demand skills for personal and professional growth.
