Kachina Peak Live Webcam — New Mexico

Kachina Peak is one of the highest summits in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of northern New Mexico, located approximately 29 kilometers (18 miles) northeast of Taos. Part of the renowned Taos Ski Valley, the peak is famous for its dramatic alpine landscapes, steep slopes, and sweeping mountain vistas that define this high-altitude region.

The summit rises to 3,804 meters (12,481 feet) above sea level, while the base of the ski area sits at 2,806 meters (9,207 feet). These elevations make Taos Ski Valley one of the highest ski resorts in North America, known for dependable snow conditions and an authentic high-alpine skiing experience.

Taos Ski Valley offers more than 110 ski runs ranging from intermediate to expert level, including some of the steepest and most challenging terrain in the Southwest. Kachina Peak is a standout destination for advanced skiers, with rugged slopes that test even seasoned athletes. Beyond skiing, the peak is celebrated for its panoramic views of untouched wilderness, and a chairlift provides easy access to the summit, where visitors can take in spectacular views of northern New Mexico’s mountain scenery.
