Ponquogue Bridge is a key roadway link spanning Shinnecock Bay in the Hampton Bays area on the eastern end of Long Island. It connects the town center with Dune Road and the Atlantic Ocean shoreline, offering direct and convenient access to Ponquogue Beach and nearby coastal communities.

The current bridge was completed in 1986 and built from reinforced concrete. It measures approximately 857 meters (2,812 feet) in length and replaced an earlier wooden drawbridge constructed in 1930, which long served as the main route to the oceanfront. The bridge features 29 spans and carries two lanes of traffic as part of County Route 32.

With a vertical clearance of about 17 meters (56 feet), the bridge allows small and medium-sized boats to safely navigate through Shinnecock Bay. This makes it an important passage not only for vehicles but also for local marine traffic.

Today, Ponquogue Bridge is both a vital piece of transportation infrastructure and a familiar local landmark, used daily by residents and visitors traveling between Hampton Bays, the bay, and the Atlantic coastline.
