The Port of Savannah is one of the largest and fastest-growing seaports in the United States. By container volume, it consistently ranks among the nation’s leading ports and, since the early 2020s, has held a top position among ports on the U.S. East Coast. The port is located in the city of Savannah, Georgia, on both banks of the Savannah River, approximately 18 miles (about 29 km) inland from the Atlantic Ocean, providing direct access to global shipping routes.

Its core facility is the Garden City Terminal, the largest single container terminal in North America.
