Savannah Seaport Live Webcam โ Georgia
Live webcam streams real-time views of the Port of Savannah in the state of Georgia, United States.
The Port of Savannah is one of the largest and fastest-growing seaports in the United States. By container volume, it consistently ranks among the nationโs leading ports and, since the early 2020s, has held a top position among ports on the U.S. East Coast. The port is located in the city of Savannah, Georgia, on both banks of the Savannah River, approximately 18 miles (about 29 km) inland from the Atlantic Ocean, providing direct access to global shipping routes.
Recognized as one of the fastest-growing container ports in North America, the Port of Savannah actively competes with major U.S. gateways such as Los Angeles, Long Beach, and the New YorkโNew Jersey port complex. Its core facility is the Garden City Terminal, the largest single container terminal in North America. The terminal covers an area of approximately 485 hectares (about 4.85 square kilometers or 1,200 acres) and features state-of-the-art cargo-handling infrastructure, deepwater berths, and the ability to accommodate the worldโs largest container vessels.
Savannah itself is located on the Atlantic coast of the United States at the mouth of the Savannah River and lies approximately 402 km (250 miles) southeast of Atlanta, the capital and largest city of the state of Georgia. Supported by its strategic geographic position and continuous investment in port and transportation infrastructure, the Port of Savannah continues to strengthen its role as a key maritime and logistics hub for the United States and the broader Atlantic region.
