Shiligarnika is one of the most popular skiing zones at the Bansko ski resort in Bulgaria. Located in the southeastern part of the resort, Shiligarnika offers excellent access for both beginners and more experienced skiers and snowboarders. The area is situated at an elevation of approximately 1,850 meters (6,070 feet) above sea level, providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It lies in the Pirin Mountains, close to well-known spots such as Banderishka Polyana (Banderishka Meadow) and Todorka Peak.
Shiligarnika is famous for its picturesque landscapes and wide variety of slopes catering to different skill levels. The resort has around 7 ski runs, including “blue” runs for beginners, “red” runs for intermediate skiers, and several “black” runs for advanced athletes. One of the key features of this area is the presence of a well-lit run for night skiing, allowing visitors to enjoy skiing even after the sun sets.
Shiligarnika is also known for its well-developed infrastructure for tourists. In addition to ski slopes, visitors can find comfortable rest areas, cafes, sports equipment shops, and rental services.
