Costa Adeje (Spanish: Costa Adeje) is the largest resort area on the southern coast of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands in Spain. It is located on the Atlantic Ocean coast near Las Americas, the most popular resort and nightlife center on Tenerife. The resort area stretches from La Caleta to Playa Fañabé and is part of the Adeje municipality. Costa Adeje has a developed resort infrastructure, with both budget hotels and luxurious five-star hotels. Tenerife South Airport is only 20 km to the east, making it easily accessible.
The climate in Costa Adeje is warm and sunny year-round, typical of the Canary Islands. The average annual temperature is around +24 °C (75 °F), making it an ideal place for a beach holiday all year round. Costa Adeje boasts numerous spacious beaches, such as Playa del Duque, Playa Fañabé, Playa de Torviscas, and Playa de Puerto Colón. Playa Fañabé is one of the most popular and largest beaches in the region. It is located immediately after Playa de Torviscas to the north of the Costa Adeje harbor. The beach is covered with fine golden sand and equipped with breakwaters for safe swimming. Playa Fañabé offers a wide range of amenities, including sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, and changing rooms. Lifeguards are present to ensure safety on the beach. Water sports such as jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides are available here. Along the entire beach, there is a promenade with restaurants, bars, cafes, and nightclubs.
